Temporary Professor of Fibers August 2007-Present
Responsible for demonstrations and curriculum guide for eighteen students in introduction to fibers class. This class includes instruction in coil basketry, cross stitch, embroidery, papermaking- two dimensional and three dimensional. In addition to classroom demonstrations there is a focus toward better understanding the significance of technical skill in relationship to conceptual theory. To better understand fibers art as a professional, students are expected to participate in visiting artist lectures, class fieldtrips, and a papermaking exchange within the class.
